Thomas C. Massebeau, Jr.
Tom is CEO of Compass Financial Management Group. He has specialized in the retirement market since 1990. His experience and knowledge enable him to be a complete resource in providing valuable added experience and solutions for our clients. In his free time, Tom can be found at sporting events watching his seven grandchildren or pulling them behind a boat on a tube. He is also very involved in prison ministry.
Bruce has been with Compass Financial since 1996. He primarily focuses on fixed and predictable income for our clients. Bruce also has a strong understanding of how insurance products, including life and long term care insurance, may be utilized in accomplishing retirement goals for our clients. Bruce enjoys time with family, friends and shooting sporting clays and all things outdoors.
Scot has been with the Company since 2004 and focuses on personally structuring his clients' retirement in a way where they can sleep well at night. He has a real talent for communicating complicated programs in a simple understandable way. He brings real value to the company and our clients with his past experiences in business, as well as his ability to make your retirement stress free.
Ralph has worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 37 years. He joined Compass Financial in 2012 after retiring from the banking industry in December of 2011. His career in banking included management within the branch and call centers, consumer lending; as well as providing sales and service for mutual fund and annuities as a licensed Financial Advisor. Ralph's primary areas of focus are: fixed and predictable life time income, legacy planning, and financial asset protection.
Dan joined the Compass Financial team in 2012 and is primarily working with clients throughout the Georgia area. His background is in retail sales having worked for Publix Markets for 32 years, the last 15 years of his career being a Store Manager. He understands that Publix is truly a unique Company; as are those that work there. He’s excited to be working with us in helping the Publix associates develop a “Clear Financial Direction” for their future.
Greg has been in the financial services industry since 1993 and joined Compass Financial in 2014. His primary focus is on providing retirement planning solutions for seniors. He also specializes in asset and estate protection for our clientele. Greg travels between his two homes in Virginia and Florida and services clients up the east coast of the country. In his free time, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and activities at his church.
John joined Compass Financial in 2015 after retiring from Publix in 2014. His career at Publix spanned 40 years, 35 of which were in management. He worked in over 19 locations in the South Florida area. His desire to help other Publix associates develop a plan for retirement is what brought him to join our team. In Johns spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and exercising.
Jim joined the team in 2018 after 1 41 year career at Publix. Jim spent the last 16 years of his career as Regional Director. His love and passion for publix people is what brought him to Compass Financial. Jim believes that being able to help Publix associates find financial independence after PUblix completes their career. Jim spends his off time working as a community advocate for many charitable causes in the Tampa Bay area. When not working, Jim spends all his time with his wife Michell and their two daughters Gracen and Gillian.
Lauren has worked in the financial services industry close to 15 years and joined Compass Financial in 2017. Most of her experience lies in the areas of financial planning, investment management and life insurance. She diligently seeks to provide her clients the educational resources and tools necessary to guide them through the financial planning process and beyond. She and her husband, James, llive in Atlanta, Georgia with their three children. Her passions besides financial planning include cooking, volleyball, being outdoors and volunteering in the ministries involving families affected by divorce and addiction.
Lorrie joined Compass Financial in 2016 but her previous experience was in the retail industry with over 9 years in various positions with Publix. Lorrie is a registered Sales Associate and holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) securities license. Her role includes both servicing existing clients as well as prospective clients. In her free time, Lorrie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and volunteer work at the local Humane Society.
Ann is the Office Manager and joined Compass Financial in 2005. Her role on the team is to strengthen client relationships through overseeing all office administration and operations.
Juli joined Compass Financial Management Group, Inc. in 2011 and heads the marketing department. She has more computer knowledge than anyone in our office and is very involved with the financial education division of Compass Financial Management Group, Inc.
Jules started with Compass Financial in 2015. She is responsible for opening new accounts and the administrative oversigt of our client's retirment transition process. After hours, she works as a part time Publix associate. Jules also enjoys going to theme parks and spending time with her three children.
